Volunteers Needed to Help Clean 98

Jennifer_Otto@link.freedom.com

The Scenic Corridor Association has teamed with Howard Group to host Scenic 98 Cleanup Day on April 29 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The annual Scenic Corridor Association Cleanup Day offers community members an opportunity to show their community pride and help maintain a clean and scenic thoroughfare.

All residents and businesses in the South Walton area are invited to join the effort and help beautify the Highway 98 corridor. Volunteers are asked to meet at 8 a.m. in the parking lot of Publix at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin.

Each volunteer will be paired with a buddy and will be responsible for a half mile of the highway. Safety vests, bags and tools will be provided for volunteers. Light refreshments will also be available to volunteers.

For more information or to sign up for the Cleanup Day, contact Mary at (850) 267-3594.
