TynMan Triathlon/Duathlon
The Company Grade Officer Council is hosting the TynMan Tri/Duathlon at 7 a.m. Oct. 20 on Tyndall AFB.
The event, which starts at Eagle Drive in base housing, includes:
Triathlon - 600-meter swim, 12-mile bike ride, and a 5-kilometer run
Duathlon event - 1.5 mile run, 12 mile bike ride, and a 5-km run

The pre-registration cut-off date is Sept. 12.
The cost is $30 for DOD ID card holders and $40 for non-DOD ID card holders. In addition, non-members of USA Triathlon will be required to pay a registration fee of $10. An additional $15 fee will apply to those who register the day of the event.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category, including overall male and female. Additionally, there will be events for family and participants during and after the race which include a best costume contest and trick-or-treating in the athletes’ village.
All proceeds benefit the CGOC and Combined Federal Campaign.
