Wife arrested for role in bigamy
CRESTVIEW — A woman involved in a bigamist’s double marriage has been arrested, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff ’s Office.
Jessica Leigh Lusk, 24, of Crestview, faces felony bigamy charges.
Her husband, John Hobert Oldacre III, was arrested in September after lawmen said he’d married his second wife and was “shopping for a third,” according to his arrest report.
Family members reported the marriages. Lawmen said Oldacre’s 5-year-old daughter told them she saw “her daddy and two mommies” sleeping in the same bed and that “daddy was going to get her another mommy,” according to the report.
Lusk married Oldacre in January 2006. He had also married in 2002.
“She had no problem marrying him and living with his first wife,” the report stated.
