Tree falls on Crestview tattoo shop

City workers are removing a large oak tree that fell during the storm.

“It’s gotta be like five, six, seven feet around. It’s very old,” said Jeff Bullard, who owns the business, Tattoos Forever, which was damaged by the falling tree. “I mean, this tree was huge.”

Bullard estimated that the tree was about 80 feet tall.

Bullard said the tree fell on the entrance of the business. Part of the tree is also in the roadway on Walnut Avenue.

Bullard said the tree fell at around 2:30 a.m.

“Thank goodness it didn’t fall on anybody,” Bullard said.

Passersby reported that part of the roadway near the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Ferdon Boulevard was blocked off this morning.
