Five arrested in Crestview drug bust
Five people were arrested Saturday afternoon after a search warrant was served at a home on Booker Street.
“This was a user house,” said Lt. Joseph Floyd, commander of the Crestview police’s SWAT team.
Police didn’t have to force their way in; the door to the house at 249 S. Booker St. was open.
After an entry team secured the residence, officers searched the home and vehicles outside.
Floyd said they found various narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
“We’re working the whole city,” Floyd said. “This is a statement to get the word out that we’re proactive. The days of overlooking drug activity are done.”
The five people inside the home were arrested on various drug charges. Their names had not been released as of Saturday night
