Arizona trucker charged in sexual battery case

Elgin Lovell Hogan, 37, of Tucson Arizona has been officially charged with one count of Sexual Battery with Bodily Harm and one count of Aggravated Battery of a woman found stabbed at a I-10 rest area on Monday.

He was placed under arrest In Santa Rosa County on the charges and then brought back to Walton County. He had first appearance today on the charges and was given a $100,000 bond.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by both the Okalossa and Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Offices.

The investigation is still on going at this time.
