Coastal Branch Library 'Prime Time'

Sharon Maxwell from the South Walton Turtle Watch will talk about the sea turtles that nest in the Walton County area during "Prime Time," at Coastal Branch Library on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m.

Learn about threatened and endangered species of the area, their nesting habits, the effects of different types of lights and what lights work best for the sea turtles and people.

On Jan. 16, Dr. David Ott, the Music Director and Conductor of the Northwest Philharmonic Orchestra, will present "Making Overtures and Tempting Suites."

Dr Ott is an internationally recognized composer and conductor whose impressive works have been performed and recorded by some of the most notable orchestras in the United States. He will discuss the upcoming performances of the Philharmonic.
