Rewards Offered in Armed Robbery
Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information identifying the two suspects who robbed a man outside a Mary Esther bank on the morning of Dec. 17.
A separate reward of $25,000 is being offered by Strong Armored Courier
Services for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
According to reports an employee of Strong Armored Courier Services, a company that services local ATM machines, was robbed in the parking lot of the Vanguard Bank located at 302 Mary Esther Boulevard.
The suspect is a white male last seen dressed in all black and wearing a black mask. The victim reported the suspect pointed a shotgun at him and took a large amount of cash. The suspect then fled in a getaway vehicle that was driven by a second suspect.
The getaway vehicle, a black Toyota Corolla, was found later that same day on
Magnolia Avenue in Fort Walton Beach. It had been reported stolen on Dec. 5 from the Uptown Station shopping center in Fort Walton Beach.
