Top 5 Bay school support employees named

Five finalists have been culled from a field of 43 nominees, and one will be selected tonight to represent Bay District Schools in a state support personnel recognition program.

The finalists are: Wendi Bullock, clerk, Bozeman School; Janet Mitchell, administrative secretary, Hutchison Beach Elementary School; Elizabeth Stephens, paraprofessional, Springfield Elementary School; Mary Burris, paraprofessional, Tyndall Elementary School; and Misty Fowler, paraprofessional, Chautauqua Learn & Serve Charter School.

The winner will be announced during a recognition event at the Martin Theatre, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The program is designed to call attention to the above-and-beyond efforts of school support employees.
