Tip leads to drug find at high school

CRESTVIEW — An anonymous tip led a school resource officer to a cache of marijuana hidden at Crestview High School.

The marijuana was hidden in the electrical wiring lab under a gray plastic box, according to a report from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.

The tip implicated a student, who admitted to buying it from another student earlier in the day for $8.

When questioned, the other student admitted to bringing it to school and selling it but said he had spent the $8 on lunch and sodas.
