Salvation Army takes requests for help

The Salvation Army will accept applications for holiday assistance from Santa Rosa County residents beginning Monday and running through Sept. 28.

The applications will be taken from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. at 6861 Oak St. in Milton.

Applicants must bring a picture ID for those 18 and older; a Social Security card for children and adults; proof of income for all household members; and proof of all household monthly expenses.

Residents who are unable to make those times, call 432-1501.
