VFW wants to form Destin post

Veterans of Foreign Wars District 1 wants to establish a post in Destin.

The organization serves active-duty troops, guardsmen and reservists as well as veterans.

VFW officials believe there will be more need for the services the organization offers because of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

People interested in information about forming a Destin VFW post should contact Paul C. Considine, District 1 commander, at the 862-3282.
