Sinfonia swings on the Boulevard

WALTON COUNTY - "Sinfonia Swings on the Boulevard" on Saturday, Aug. 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. featuring members of Playground Swing, live dancers, complimentary swing dance lessons and a special guest performance by Phyllis Hasty.

The performance will take place in the public green space known as Grand Park, located between Tommy Bahama's Tropical Café & Emporium and Cantina Laredo. This event, presented and co-sponsored by Grand Boulevard and Tommy Bahama's Tropical Café, is free and open to the public. Guests can enjoy the comfortable seating that will be provided or are invited to bring their own blankets to sit on the green.

Come swing on the boulevard as members of Sinfonia join Playground Swing, one of the region's finest swing/jazz/dance bands.

Maestro Demetrius Fuller will emcee an evening of exciting live music and swing dancing featuring everyone's favorite hits from yesteryear.

Tommy Bahama's Tropical Café will also have food and beverages including wine, Tommy Bahama's signature punch and beer available for purchase.

No outside food or drinks may be brought into the park.
There will also be a special drawing for a package that includes complimentary dinner for two at Tommy Bahama and tickets to an upcoming Sinfonia event.

Patrons are also welcome to join the pre-concert festivities from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the patio of Tommy Bahama's Tropical Cafe.

The appetizer and cocktail reception, featuring the delicious and festive island food and drinks of Tommy Bahama, will benefit Sinfonia's innovative membership/donor program Bravo!.

Maestro Fuller will be on hand to discuss the exciting 2008-09 concert season.
