P.C. employers geared up for hiring

Thirty-one percent of Panama City-area employers expect to hire more employees during the fourth quarter of 2007, according to the latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.
The best job prospects will be found in durable/non-durable goods manufacturing, wholesale/retail trade, and the finance/insurance/real estate industries, according to the survey.
Ten percent of companies surveyed indicated they expect to cut staff during the fourth quarter, while 59 percent said they will maintain current staff levels.
