fireworks

The Walton County Heritage Museum will celebrate its fifth anniversary on the 4th of July with extended hours and a tour through the new caboose.

The Museum will open at its regular time, 11 a.m., and will remain open until after the fireworks display over Lake DeFuniak.

From 3 to 6 p.m., visitors will have the rare opportunity to walk through the fully refurbished caboose.

The Walton County Heritage Museum is located at 1140 Circle Drive in the Historic District of DeFuniak Springs, next to the red caboose. Call (850) 951-2127 for more information.
