Poker Game Leads to Butt Stabbing
NAVARRE - A poker game took an unusual turn last week when one Navarre man turned a steak knife on another.
Jace Moore, 22, confronted Dustin Danner, 23, about money he was owed from a recent poker match. When Danner did not pay up, the situation got ugly.
Moore grabbed a steak knife and attempted to stab Danner in the chest. When his attempts failed, Moore took the knife below the belt. He proceeded to stab Danner four times in the buttocks.
Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies received the call on Feb. 1 and immediately dispatched to the scene.
Deputies found Danner with non-life threatening injuries and had him airlifted to Pensacola Baptist Hospital.
Moore had already fled the scene by the time deputies arrived. He took with him $276 cash and an iPod.
A warrant has been issued for Moore, of 8640 Rio Vista Drive, with a bond of $25,000 on the following charges:
- Aggravated assault
- Third degree felony
- Aggravated battery with a deadly weapon
- Second degree felony
- Robbery with a weapon
- First degree felony
- Possession of marijuana over 20 grams
- Third degree felony
Investigators need your help finding Moore. He is considered dangerous and should be approached with caution.
