Wreck sends biker to hospital

FLOROSA — A Navarre man was injured in a motorcycle wreck Friday afternoon on U.S. Highway 98, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Jonathan Hopson, a 24-year-old military man, was injured at about 1:15 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. 98 and Parish Boulevard, said FHP Lt. Bobby Mills.
His eastbound 2005 Suzuki rear-ended a 2000 Jeep driven by 54-year-old Douglas Percell, also of Navarre, according to FHP reports.
Hopson was in the operating room in fair condition Friday evening at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.
