Byt ROBBYN BROOKS, Florida Freedom Newspapers

Eglin Air Force Base's Natural Resources Section will be conducting a prescribed burn Monday.

The burn will be directly east of Eglin range road 236, two miles west of U.S. Highway 123 and north of Eglin's main base. This burn could total as much as 2,500 acres and will be between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.

A news release from Eglin warns drivers to slow down and use caution if smoke moves over roadways.
