Section of Beach Drive to close for repairs

A segment of Beach Drive, from Mountain Drive to Bent Arrow Drive, will be closed for repair work from 7 a.m., Tuesday, May 20 to 7 a.m., Thursday, May 22.

A segment of Beach Drive, from Mountain Drive to Bent Arrow Drive, will be closed for repair work from 7 a.m., Tuesday, May 20 to 7 a.m., Thursday, May 22. 

Destin Water Users, Inc. will be upgrading a lift station forcemain at that location and repairing damage to a segment of Beach Drive just south from the entrance of the Destin United Methodist Church.
 
Motorists are urged to avoid this area of Beach Drive during the 48-hour period that it will be shut down.
