FORT WALTON BEACH - 3 Dogs & a Chick Dog Bakery and Boutique celebrates their grand opening...luau style, on Saturday, July 26 their store in historical downtown Fort Walton Beach.

Dogs from across the Emerald Coast come ready to play games, do paw print paintings, take a dip in the bone-shaped wading pool and enjoy tropical treats. The Panhandle Animal Welfare Society will be in attendance, with adoptable dogs and information on other available animals. They will also hold a microchip and rabies clinic with the help of Dr. Laurel Touvrea. Certified dog trainer Lisa Coburn will be available to answer questions about dog training.

As well as fun merchandise and delectable goodies for your little companions, 3 Dogs & a Chick also holds monthly doggie socials in their shaded courtyard. The first event was an ice cream social with over 60 dogs in attendance! They also do unique services such as pet portraits, adoption events and fundraisers for local charities. Some of the events and special causes that have placed 3 Dogs & a Chick on the pet map already in the Fort Walton Beach area are the Yappy Hour at Tijuana Flats, partnering with Panhandle Animal Welfare Society, Greyhound Pets of America Emerald Coast Adoptions, Military Working Dog Memorial and the 4th of July Celebrations in The Landing Park.

There is a bowl of water outside the door and yummy treats waiting for visiting friends. Pets, of course, are always welcome.
