The Destin Duck Derby will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 in Destin West Beach and Bay Resort, on the north side of U.S. 98 on Okaloosa Island. Proceeds benefit educational programs of the Emerald Coast Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors and Shelter House.

There will be tattoo artists, a duck shop and food. From 10-11:30 a.m., you can take a souvenir photo with a duck sponsored by AFLAC Insurance.

The final Quack Off race is at noon with a grand prize of $100. Bring a prepaid ticket to the park or buy ducks at the door. Admission is $5 a duck or five ducks for $20.
