Student earns $160,000 award
The National College Match has selected Choctawhatchee High School’s Michelle Miller as one of 204 recipients of a $160,000 scholarship.
The four-year scholarship covers tuition, room, and board at Trinity College next year.
Miller was chosen from a national applicant pool of 3,800 students from across the United States. After making the final round of the National College Match, Miller was admitted to Trinity College, which is paying for the scholarship.
The National College Match is administered by QuestBridge, a foundation in Palo Alto, Calif., that matches up talented low-income students with elite colleges.
Miller is planning to study business and law.
