Lawmen: Man stole ACs from a church

A 21-year-old DeFuniak Springs man has been charged with stealing air conditioners from the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Laurel Hill, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

Dal W. Hardison of E. Tedder Road faces one grand theft charge and a criminal mischief allegation.

According to the Sheriff ’s Office, Hardison allegedly took two free-standing condensers worth an estimated $1,900 and damaged a third by cutting its electrical and refrigerant lines.
