Couple charged with selling drugs at home

Charges have been added to a couple who were the target of a raid at their home in March.

Roy C. Cato, 25, has been charged with possession of Alprazolam, Lorazepam, Methadone and Oxycodone, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office report.

Cato was charged previously with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and trafficking in MDMA and in Hydrocodone.

Most of the drugs and $17,800 in cash were found in a safe in the man’s bedroom, the report stated.

Cato’s 19-year-old wife, Charla, was also been charged with trafficking in Hydrocodone in excess of four grams, according to the report.

They were arrested April 17.

Deputies also found the couple’s infant son in the house trailer on Staff Road in Crestview, the report added. The state Department of Children and Families was notified.
