Firefighter Car Show at Uptown Station Rescheduled
The 2nd Annual Fort Walton Beach Professional Firefighters Benefit Car and Motorcycle Show at Uptown Station's Central Park has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The car and motorcycle show benefits the Fort Walton Beach Professional Firefighters Association - Burn Out Fund.
The Burn Out Fund is one of many ways the Fort Walton Beach Firefighters are able to give back to the community. Experiencing a fire can be a very traumatic event, often leaving the victims with the clothes on their backs. For over 12 years, the Burn Out Fund has helped the community by addressing their immediate needs after a fire. When funds run low the Fire Fighters "pass the helmet" to collect money for victims of a house fire but not this year, join us Saturday to raise money for the Burn out Fund and help the community all in one day.
Bring the family out for a day of cars, food and fun in Central Park at Uptown Station. There will be bounce houses, Color me crazy tattoos, Face painters, and great food and drinks available. All money collected will go directly to The FWB Professional Firefighters Burn Out Fund.
