Wal-Mart donates trailer to FWBHS

FORT WALTON BEACH — Wal-Mart on Beal Parkway has donated a 48-foot trailer to the Fort Walton Beach High School’s band. A moving company delivered it to the school Tuesday afternoon.

Elisa Crews, an assistant manager at Wal-Mart whose daughter is in the band, asked for the trailer.

For the past 20 years, the band has been using a standard U-Haul truck and renting two more to travel. The band is now looking for donated paints and volunteer painters.

To help, call the high school at (850) 833-3300.
