According to Balfour Beatty Construction, who received the award, few are given out. Vice President Alan Silver had this to say in giving the award to the Airport:
“Please find your award, because truly it was a team effort that could not have been accomplished without you and your staff’s perseverance and can-do attitude.”
Okaloosa Regional Airport is experiencing tremendous growth, with a 15 percent increase in passengers in July over last year, and a national average increase of 3.6 percent. Sept. 5th, non-stop American Eagle flights to Chicago begin at a competitive price of $200 round trip.
