A busy Fall Season for Art and Theatre in Bay County! ArtCoop has a full schedule of art and theatre classes and performances!

ArtCoop Theatre—Crossbones Theatre will have auditions for the play "Suburbia" on Monday, October 17, 6 pm at ArtCoop. Auditions will consist of cold-readings from the script. We will be casting for males and females between the ages of 17 and 25. Ethnic actors are encouraged to audition. Call 319-6188 for more information.

Performances will be held on Nov 30, Dec 1, and Dec 2 at 7:30 pm., Dec 7 at 9 pm (Special late-night performance to coincide with Grand Opening), Dec 8 and Dec 9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. · “Seasonal Expressions” Painting Workshop will be held at the Panama City Beach Senior Center, Oatfield Building on Tuesday, October 23 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. and is open to all adults and is $30 per person. · "Journey to Abstraction" Painting Workshop will be held at Tyndall AFB, Arts and Crafts Center and is designed for people ages 14 to adult. · Non Representational Art by Jim Davis—Meet the Artist Reception October 12, 4 to 8 p.m. and will be held at the Gallery of Art 36 W. Beach Drive in downtown Panama City.
· Mexico Beach Art and Wine Festival—Will be held at the Driftwood Inn, Tickets are $10 and the event will be held on Saturday, October 20, from 2 to 10 p.m. The auction will be held at 8 p.m.
· Nature's Gallery, St Andrews State Park--Arts, crafts, historical re-enactments and more! The event will be held on Sat and Sun Oct 27 and 28 from 10 to 5 p.m.
· Corks and Canvases—Art Auction to benefit Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, will be held on Sunday, Dec 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Sunspree. Contact Paula Shell at pshell@bbbsnwfl.org or the Bay County Office at 763-5437 for ticket information.
Be sure to show up for the ArtCoop’s One Night Stand Grand Opening Celebration! The party will be on Friday, December 7, from 4 to 9 p.m. You can come by all night for Drop-in Art Projects, Skits and sketches performed by the Creative Dramatics class, and beautiful art for sale!
