PJC to host webcast on AIDS epidemic
The Pensacola Junior College Bioethics Committee invites the community to view Webcasts of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute 2007 Holiday Lecture on Science, “AIDS: Evolution of an Epidemic” Thursday, Dec. 6, and Friday, Dec. 7, on all three PJC campuses.
AIDS researchers Dr. Bruce Walker and Dr. Bisola Ojikutu are presenting the lectures via simultaneous live Webcasts from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Locations are:
Pensacola campus, Jean and Paul Amos Performance Studio, Building 23
Warrington campus, Building 3700, room 3735
Milton campus, Building 4900, room 4902.
The Escambia County Health Department is providing free AIDS testing and counseling on the Milton campus Friday, Dec. 7, to the first 12 people who visit the mobile testing site in Building 4300, rooms 4301 and 4302.
